Effective Date: ; 3107.012 Applying for adoption by foster caregiver.(A) A foster caregiver may use the application prescribed under division (B) of this section to obtain the services of an agency to arrange an adoption for the foster caregiver if the foster caregiver seeks to adopt the foster caregiver's foster child who has resided in the foster caregiver's home for at least six months prior to the date the foster caregiver submits the application to the agency.As used in sections 3107.01 to 3107.19 of the Revised Code: (A) "Agency" means any public or private organization certified, licensed, or otherwise specially empowered by law or rule to place minors for adoption.(B) "Attorney" means a person who has been admitted to the bar by order of the Ohio supreme court.Before you read the following information about child adoption laws we would like to ask for your help in our project to help babies, children and their mothers.
